Data collection

PhotoMeterPro stores camera bodies, lenses, filters, and user profile locally on your device using SwiftData. With Pro subscription and your consent, gear and profile data sync to your private iCloud CloudKit container (iCloud.com.tine.photometerpro). PhotoMeterPro does not operate its own user account system.

AI requests

When you use AI advisors, gear context, scene data, and measured EV are sent to the Cloudflare Worker (photometerpro-ai.catalin-74b.workers.dev), which forwards requests to OpenAI. These requests are rate-limited by IP. The Worker backend uses in-memory storage for sync/analytics/output data — ephemeral and not persisted across restarts.

Analytics

Local analytics via AnalyticsEngine track app usage on device. Optional upload to POST /api/analytics/upload when telemetry is enabled in Settings. You can disable telemetry in Settings → Analytics preferences.

Camera and Bluetooth

Camera access is required for live metering. Bluetooth access is required only for Camera Output BLE features. Permissions are requested during onboarding and can be revoked in iOS Settings.
